Dieting – Intentional Weight Loss

To lose weight successfully, it should carry out a plan to balance calorie intake with exercise. Ideally, eating a nutritionally balanced diet, low in calories and increase physical activity.
Although many programs are advertised to help people to lose weight, the only proven method for the long term and is sure to burn more calories from being consumed.
This is achieved by consuming less calories (eat less food or healthier food) or to increase the energy expenditure (exercise more). Often, using behavioral modification techniques such as consuming smaller portions to help control eating habits. Once you lose weight, these habits can be modified slightly to keep the peso. What is the meaning of weight loss?

It is a decrease in body weight that is not done on a voluntary basis. In other words, the person did not attempt to lose weight with diet or exercise.
There are many causes of unintentional weight loss, some of which appear in the list below:
* AIDS
* Cancer
* Depression
* Chronic diarrhea (which lasts a long time)
* Drugs such as amphetamines, chemotherapeutic drugs, excessive use of laxatives and thyroid medications
* Drug Addiction
* Eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa and bulimia
* Hyperthyroidism
* Infection
* Loss of appetite
* Malnutrition
* Behavior manipulator (in children)
* Painful mouth ulcers, orthodontic devices or loss of teeth to prevent the person to eat normally
* Smoking
