Diet Change and / or physical activity in obesity treatment

The purpose of this literature review was to examine whether diet changes, exercise or a combination of the two gave the best results in the treatment of obesity, in terms of weight and BMI. Overweight and obesity is now a major public health problem and it is estimated that approximately 10% of men and 12% of women in Sweden have a BMI over 30, ie. obese.
Even children are affected, and about 3% is estimated to belong to the corresponding category. No one can say with certainty what obesity is because there are many theories. Lifestyle affects, as well as genetic factors, but the world over are agreed that something must be done to stem the obesity epidemic. Thirty minutes of physical activity a day is the usual recommendation. Four of the studies I raise in this work include various amounts and intensity of exercise and the results. Similarly, there is a study that takes up only diets. Two of the four motion studies also have limitations in the diet as a supplement to the motion.
